USDA CARLOT VEAL CARCASS REPORT - Northeast and North Central Basis

Compared to last week: The special fed veal carcass market
was higher on comparable sales of veal calves. Demand
was light to moderate on light to moderate offerings.
Harvest numbers were 4.4 percent lower compared to last week's
total. Dressed weights were up 6.9 pounds.


 Represents calves harvested Sunday through Saturday of last week.
VEAL CARCASS, SPECIAL FED, HOT BASIS-PAID TO PRODUCER - FOB BASIS
 Includes previously committed contract and open market calves.
